30000g, 4000g, 5000g, 7000g Geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs) for Control Pollution and Seal Mining Sites
Geosynthetic clay liner, also know as geo clay liner or GCLs, is made from natural sodium-based bentonite or other low-permeability mineral materials covered with two layers of geosynthetic materials such as geomembrane or geotextile by needle punching, stitching or strong fixation with chemical adhesives. Geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) is an environmentally friendly composite geotechnical material widely utilized as a substitute for compacted clay liner. It consists of a layer of bentonite that can swell and form a low-permeability clay barrier when exposed to water, providing moisture-proof and waterproof properties. The combination of outstanding anti-permeability characteristics in GCL, along with the tear resistance, high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and acid and alkali resistance of geotextile or geomembrane, enables GCL to meet specific environmental requirements and achieve an ideal anti-seepage effect.
Product Features
1. Good waterproof capacity, sodium bentonite can form a gel layer which does not permit the penetration of water
2. It has strong ability to fit the uneven sedimentation well.
3. Good water-keeping and self-fix capacity
4. Permanent waterproof capacity, sodium bentonite is natural inorganic mineral material, there is no corrosion and age happened to sodium bentonite
5. Sodium bentonite is harmless to human being and environment.
6. Easy operation, it can be fixed in nail and gasket, it can reduce the building time greatly.
Product Application
Landfill caps
Base liner applications under roads, railways,
Containment for ground tank farms, dams, canals, ponds, rivers and lakes.
